Hello there, friends. Happy OFF CAMPUS DAY!!! I read the Off Campus series so you wouldn’t have to. Now you have ZERO EXCUSE TO NOT WATCH!
The Off Campus series follows the highs and lows of four college students who play hockey for Briar University. Garrett Graham, John Logan, Dean Heyward-Di Laurentis, and John Tucker. Each book in the series tells a story of their lives at Briar U, while living Off Campus. Lots of ups and downs, but it has the right amount of spice to make you want more and then some!
The series starts with ‘The Deal’, where Garrett, Briar University’s Hockey Captain, seeks tutoring from our favorite Music Major, Wellsey…oops! I mean, Hannah. Hannah agrees to tutor G only because she wants to make Justin, the school’s hottest football player, jealous. Through their farce love story, both Hannah and Garrett find themselves falling for each other. Making the deal they first came up with hard to break.
‘The Mistake’ follows John Logan, a small town boy who’s a lowkey player. John, or Logan to his friends, has fallen in love with a girl that he can never have. Hannah Wells. Coming to terms with his feelings, Logan finds himself constantly hiding away from his roommate and his girlfriend. One night, Logan just could not take it anymore. He has to leave the house because of his feelings. In his haste to leave home, Logan forgets his phone and is unable to find which dorm room his friend is throwing a party at. To his surprise, he knocks on the very innocent door of Grace. Grace never expected to have one of Briar’s hockey stars show up at her door, but when he does, all she can do is babble away. Once Logan feels the defeat of not knowing where the party is, he and Grace have a night in. This one mistake will now pave the way for one of the most entertaining second chance love stories.
The second to the last, albeit my favorite love story. ‘The Score’ is all about the playful romance of Dean and Allie. With a type A personality, Allie has her life all worked out. Dean is the ULTIMATE PLAYBOY, the puck bunnies love him. In his world, he knew he was a ladies’ man, and in Allie’s world, he was just a fuck boy. I mean, the girl found him in his natural habitat when she found him in his living room. With a rocky start, Dean starts to gravitate toward Allie’s Orbit. Not knowing the real score, Dean and Allie need to reach an understanding of how they both truly feel.
Lastly, ‘The Goal’ involves both Tucker and Sabrina. Sabrina has a good head on her shoulders and only has one goal to fulfill, Harvard Law. Tucker, on the other hand, has to figure out what he wants to do after graduating from Briar University. Is he to go back home to Texas to build a business he’s not passionate about, or will he actually find a reason to stay in Boston? Everything was all set in stone for the two until one night, one decision changed their lives for the better. During a night out, Tucker sees Sabrina across the room of Malone’s and quickly falls head over heels for a girl, who he knows has a rigid personality. One thing leads to another, and they both hook up. Things intensify when (****SPOILER****) Sabrina finds out she and Tucker are expecting!
I honestly didn’t think I would like this series as much as I do. It was such a great read, and the banter and romance make the series very addictive. There’s drama, romance, spice, and comedy in all four books. And let me tell you, the YEARNING in these books is absolutely chef’s kiss. Ladies would love to have romantic men like these in real life. Who wouldn’t want a guy so head over heels for their woman!? I highly recommend reading this series! Especially if you want to get into a sports romance, this is a great start. Now that you know the gist of the Off Campus series, you can watch the series on Prime Video starting today!!!
Happy reading and Happy watching!!!
UNTIL MY NEXT POST! Don’t forget that happiness is in the little things you do to make this world a better place. Be kind to yourself and be kind to others… and, as always, look out for yourself and one another.
